7 Simple Tips To Totally Rocking Your Item Upgrade

World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

Item upgrades allow players to raise the item level of equippable weapons and armor. This increases the power of the equipment, and also sometimes adding buffs or the rerolling of an affix.

It is important to remember that upgrading your magic and common gear isn't always worth the cost. Rare and Unique gear will quickly outclass modernized magic and common equipment.

Cost

The player must pay gold to upgrade an item. The cost to upgrade an item is based on the item's current status and type of upgrade. Upgrades to weapons are usually less expensive than upgrades to armor because weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold needed increases as an item is upgraded.

An upgraded item will also come with increased stats, which could boost its performance in various ways. This could mean increasing the power of its attack, critical strike chance, or damage per second. In addition an upgraded item might be able to give additional bonuses to its equipped unit. These upgrades can be used to boost the overall strength of a unit or individual unit, and can be a major influence on the gameplay.
